I have an idea to help contribute to more scripting updates....

Well, my idea is that we make an AI that is capable of teaching scripting students quickly. That way, many people can learn on their OWN time, with someone/err, something.

Ok. So, yeah. If we could develop a Teacher AI, then we could help teach thousands of students within a week.

I've always thought of this.


You'd need to make fake functions, like a fake handler I think

Then have a system compare the results of what the person enters to the intended results.

Like print("Hi")

Would return a string or something that the system checks against.

Never got around to it though.

Doing it in ROBLOX could be very difficult though...

Difficult ~= impossible.


Plus, if we accomplish this, we'll finally get updates!

Because there will be more scripters?


Btw. The Scripters forum needs to be less.... Like a rabid dog.

Like, less angry when new people come? I think that may be the over use / under use of the stickies.

Yeah. I miss the Scripters forum. It's not the same.

I have an idea for an AI that we could teach to talk - it'll take me at least a week to get a proof of concept thing though.

What are you talking about? It was always a rabid dog. Except for like the first week.

I think the members got over confident that the mods would always back them up.

I actually made a Speech AI, but it doesn't have the capability to Teach, because it has no memory of what it just said....

Possibly make a bot with a simple button board type thing that has one main button to progress with the lesson you're on, go back to the previous page/lesson, move on to the next lesson, etc.
