    Here it is: the official Control Battle discussion. Welcome!


    Recent Updates:

    Finally fixed the map teleports. Touch a base your team has control of to teleport there.


    Things that need to be added yet:

    --Sniper Rocket (I'm just lazy ATM)

    --Nothing else?




    How to play:


    Basic Description: Control Battle is a battle for...well... control. There are 3 bases the teams are battling for. Base 1, Base 2, and the Center Base. When you have control of a base, you earn 1 point for your team, every second. To gain control of a base, simply touch the middle of it.

    Locations of the bases: There is one in the center, and one on each side of the center, near each team's home base.* They are also shown on a brief map inside your home base, if you still need help locating them.
    (Note: The big colored beams rising into the sky only come from the bases, that should help)
    (*Note: The Home Bases are NOT capturable.)


    The Water: The 'lakes' or pools of water on either side of the center have a dangerous current, so make sure that if you hop in one, you know how you're going to get yourself out, too. Stay in too long, and you may be pulled under...

    Winning the Game: Use the weapons you bring as gear and the weapons stored around the map to help your cause. You may only have one of each weapon, so dont try and pick all 6 of the superballs up, for example. When 10 minutes passes, the game is over, the scores are tallied, and the winner is chosen. Everyone will be reset, including the bases, and the game will start again.

    Simple enough? Well go try it out!

    To boost plays and maybe spread the word about this place... Maybe I should host a turnament? We don't have nearly enough players, but where could we get some more?

    I've got a good guess that once it gets up there, it will stay for awhile though... (with my luck it won't though)

    Add a better win system and also "Points" awarded to the best players which they can spend on upgrades/Miscellaneous.

    Win system? Should I just go back to a max score? Neutral

    And points don't sound like a bad idea.. .Think it's scriptable to give points when you capture a base, and when you get a KO?

    Then.. does reseting everyone reset their camera too? Or do I need to re-assign everyones cameras after that Neutral

    It would be great if you would script it(most of it)... I'm terrible with things that interact with multiple players at one time...

    edit: I also would like someone to test and see if the music installer works.. or if it's even needed? I obviously can't test it because I made the place...

    It should award everyone on a team 1 point or something every time they win, then shuffle the teams with a script like:

    local total = 0
    local t = game.Players:GetChildren()
    table.sort(t,function(a,b) return a.leaderstats.Points.Value < b.leaderstats.Points.Value end)
    local team = true
    for i,v in ipairs(t)do
    if(team)then
    v.TeamColor = --1 team
    else
    v.TeamColor = --Other team
    end
    team = not team
    end

    This makes the Best, 3rd best, 5th best, etc. players on one team and the 2nd best, 4th best, 6th best, etc. on the other team

    Cool script, I would just need a blank GetChildren template for the point giving, if you don't mind.. because I'm terrible at anything using GetChildren...

    Thats this line:

    I've used both strings ("Bright blue") and numbers (21) but it gives the same error?
